This tool allows cities/regions to assess different strategies and initiatives to understand their relation to an expanded climate and innovation agenda. It is based on IPCC's research, especially the 1.5 °C special report and the most sustainable pathway, the SSP1 Pathway.
The strategy development and benchmarking tool is aimed at stakeholders in cities/regions, who want to explore their role as human need driven solution providers and climate solution innovators. The benchmarking is based on the IPCC’s science behind the SSP1 pathway that have strongest synergies with other sustainability goals and focus on innovation.
